- . . . you wake up (at 7:30) in the morning and it's so humid outside that all of the house windows are covered with condensation, like you just got out of a hot shower.
- . . your 2 year old has "summer callous" on his heels and it's only April.
- . . . half of your friends at church are out of town for all of July & August to escape the heat
- . . . it starts HAILING during the middle of a 95 degree afternoon. Oh, wait . . . what??! Um, yeah. That really happened. Yesterday. Quarter-sized hail. 2 minutes before it happened, we were swimming in our neighbors pool. Completely bizarre.

Ahhh... you make me miss Texas. Ha! You forgot to mention something about those nasty fire ants though. I do miss you though! :) Hope you are surviving!
